Sunday and I met while we were both going to school in Abilene, TX 3 years ago. The man is just photogenic. Sportin' Chuck's, no tie and an open collar, we headed down to an abandoned receiving wharehouse in downtown Fort Worth to do his groom session. Sunday is the theatrical/actor/model type so it was really fun working with him...he's been around this block before-and we discussed what we wanted going into the shoot.

I’m spoiling you guys with the largest blog entry yet, but I just had to show off as many images as I could since the Canon conversion!  To say the least, I am very happy with the decision.

As promised, the new wedding offering is here!  The Groom Session is a 2-3 hour on-location shoot wholly devoted to the Groom.  Designed to capture gentlemanly class, creativity and fashion all in a tuxedo, the Groom Session is a great way to truly personalize your Wedding Collection.

For this shoot, I really wanted to not only capture the elegance of  the tuxedo, but do it in an environment you usually don’t associate with formal wear.  As more and more young wedding parties continue to sport Nikes and Reef flip flops to celebrate their Day, it is apparent our generation is bored with “stuffy” formalities.  I wanted to portray that new marriage of the traditional with the  non-traditional.  Most of all, I want to portray a sense of life amongst all the stuffiness of formal wear.

This session was a blast!  The model groom is a good friend of mine and very gracious to slap on a tux in 100 degree blistering heat!  We shot over a span of two days (sunset and noon) at 5 locations.  For my wide angles I shot my 16-35mm f/2.8, 100mm f2.8 for my close ups & my 50mm f/1.4 for my portraits.  These are my “selects”.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think-I would love to hear from you guys!
