Brenda
Dallas, Texas
Brenda's a friend of mine...from college...the Texas A&M days back in '99ish? Yeah...wow, I just felt old. We also both worked at Pine Cove Christian Camps as counselors that summer.
I was a bit nostalgic when I walked into her living room only to find a photograph of her and her roommates from over 2 years ago that had "Castleberry Photography" emblazoned in the lower right hand corner. [I'm laughing out loud right now...please join me]
If I still had the image I'd post it right now so we could all get a second round of laughs on me. But I shouldn't hate too much...after all, it was those photographs then that lead to these photographs now. So, we thought we'd give it a second go.

Ansley
Grapevine, Texas
Ansley...what a rad girl! She rocked this shoot like she owned it...she just let it all out and hanging out on her parents' house boat while jammin' to the Pierces and Sara Barielles was all it took. Gotta give a shout out to BFF Sam for doing such a great job with reflectors and such...and putting Ansley in stitches in a moment's notice.
ONE Light
Houston, Texas
I fled Vegas in order to dive into Zach Arias' ONE Light workshop in Houston with my good buddy Poser. To my pleasant surprise, my dear friend Lauren Clark greeted me with a warm, "Egan?"
Everyone was making these rad serious/fierce photographs with the off camera lighting but you guys know I couldn't succumb to the serious stuff ;) So I made a couple with Lauren and her "WHO" face.

Sunday
Las Vegas, Nevada
Man, I think this is unofficially college reunion week for me (Sunday and I went to college together). Sunday lives in Vegas and we hooked up for some portfolio shots while I was at WPPI. I love working with Sunday...he's talented and he gives me what I want when I ask and comes up with some great ideas himself. We started in my hotel room at The Wynn and ran around from there. A rad character all around...I mean, he's rad if not for the sole reason that he's sporting a striped onesie.
Hot Chip
Definitely the Hot Ticket from London they lay upon us their dance infused grooves. I've been bumpin' them for over a month now. I noticed Urban Outfitters pretty much adopted this album as their in-store soundtrack while I was picking up my periodic table t-shirt yesterday.
Shoot me your picks for the week...alright GO!

And I thought I was fanboy.
It's Thursday...so that means it's almost Friday and we need a laugh to get us there. I think this might do the trick. Not quite sure if my "excitement" reached quite this level when I unboxed my MacBook Pro for the first time.
No......I'm sure it didn't. Come to think of it, I'm really sure it didn't.
And no, he's not having a you-know-what. It's an Apple-gasm.

Vegas...
Wow [as I groggily rub my eyes with closed fists]...I think I've officially recovered from running around Las Vegas last week during WPPI. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...literally, because I didn't take that many photos while I was there. I did however, get the chance to meet with Jonilyn Brown, Morgan Matters and Shannon Sewell for mentoring sessions (and I hate that adjective because I really just got to share in the experience of their budding/growing passion for photography-very nice) thanks to Thirst Relief International. Seriously, I want to thank you three women again for partnering together with me to help those less fortunate than all of us that read this blog.
So, I hosted the music for Sara France's Super Swanky Soiree Sunday night (after a crazy fun filled day running around DFW airport trying to catch ANY flight to Vegas with my buddy Kyle), which was one of the most fun parties of the week. Here's the photo-booth to prove it :)
Sara and Lauren Hillary launched their GoBee bag products that night.
The next night was Blu's party at this sick mansion...it was crazy and that my friends is an understatement. Michael Norwood almost cried when the 6'5" 275lbs bouncer didn't let him in without a proper invite-LOL!!! That gave us Mammoth Men quite the laugh.
And BTW, sorry for being gone for so long. Anytime that happens Jasmine* literally sends me hate mail, hate text and if she actually had an iChat account she'd probably send me hate chat.
