Here's my boys again...I am really getting more images for my fred egan | KIDS album. They didn't last too long today because it was so humid in downtown Dallas. Later that day it was unbelievably beautiful! After the hour long shoot we headed over to the Dallas World Aquarium to learn about manatees, sharks, reefs and other various "Finding Nemo" species. Here's the keepers.

Katy Keenie is an aspiring county music artist that I went to high school with about 8 years ago. Her manager, Will Hobbs, and I hooked up to get some new promos shots for her. We went to the Fort Worth Stockyards, her 100 acres and sunflower fields.

America loves an underdog.  After all, it’s in our blood-all the way back to the day this country was founded. The story of Vince Papale was no different.  In ‘76, Papale, was a substitute teacher and part-time bartender. Despite having never played college football, he decided to attend an open tryout with the Philadelphia Eagles. He won the respect of the coaches and a spot on the team. It is not too often that I watch a movie with continually wet eyes...but I found my life in Papale’s story.

It wasn’t the fact that he overcame all odds to play for the Eagles and restore hope to a city that had lost it, but it was the odds he had to face.  After being married for five years, his wife’s incessant nagging and unhappiness led her to believe Papale was the problem.  She gave up on him and her last words were scribbled on a torn phone book page,”You’ll never be anything, you’ll never make anymore money, you’ll never go anywhere.”

His motivation and drive sprung from her burning words and disbelief in him; however, proving to his coward ex-wife that she was wrong about him would not be enough.  He needed to look to the people that believed in him all along.

Thank you to all of you who keep believing in me...here’s to being invincible.
